DIPLOMA IN BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION
Diploma in Business Administration course is designed to achieve a management
qualification, and is the foundation stone of the MBA. It enables those
experienced in particular functional areas to develop a broader management
approach, and those new to such roles, to develop skills in this area.
It considers management issues from a line manager's perspective.
Program Description
This is a 12-months program designed to develop confidence and fluency
in the language beyond intermediate level, to develop effective business
communication skills, to build appropriate vocabulary in business and
management, to develop a practical, professional understanding of management
& business administration.
It is recognised that students will have different levels of experience,
strengths and needs. In order to build on existing knowledge and experience,
a variety of strategies (including discussion, workshops and work-based
projects) will be used. A theoretical framework will be developed for
the evaluation of personal and organisational managerial effectiveness
