DIPLOMA IN ENGLISH Diploma in English language course is ideal for students who wish to spend a year perfecting their English. The core course in general English Language emphasis is placed on all four language skill development areas – listening, speaking, reading and writing, with a balance of language structure (grammar) and practical use. This course is offered at all levels. It aims to increase learner’s confidence in communicating effectively in English, while ensuring that classes are fun and interesting as well as educationally stimulating. This is a diploma programme with a difference, to make students competent in their use of the English language. The sheer range of the course spans both written and spoken, including grammatical use. The main aims of the course are to strengthen student’s overall ability in English language to ensure that they will be able to cope with the linguistic demands of their future studies. Also to help students to develop an understanding of the academic and cultural context of university study in Britain.
To achieve this aim, students will be taught the development of the basic language skills to speaking, listening, reading and writing. Also pronunciation practice and vocabulary expansion, grammar and structure of the English Language.
